Our story
Wool heritage, made verifiable for a global market.
We've fused New Zealand's wool heritage with modern digital innovation so that every wool journey — from farm gate to retail — is verifiable, sustainable, and value-enhancing.
The vision
Honouring generations of New Zealand farming families, WoolPass is building farmer-owned provenance infrastructure. Every batch of wool earns a digital passport proving genetics, regenerative stewardship and carbon data — to unlock new income and real premiums.
The innovation
Verifiable, tamper-evident records, IoT and API integrations, and fast settlement — cutting cost and admin while every bale carries its own passport, complete with heritage storytelling.
The impact
Unlocking premium markets by verifying sustainability and regenerative practice, creating new revenue from data, and connecting the whole supply chain — growers, processors, genetics experts and brands.

Shearing the spotlight
A visionary with rural roots
Amanda Bransgrove founded WoolPass to revitalise New Zealand's wool industry through a rare blend of rural heritage and digital expertise. Raised in Central Otago as a stock agent's daughter, she spent her childhood on family farms, fostering a deep love for the land and its sheep.
After 30 years in the fashion and film industries, she witnessed first-hand the environmental damage of synthetics and the decline of natural wool. For the past decade she has pursued a passion for blockchain and digital traceability, gaining the insight needed to power transparent supply chains.
By leveraging Digital Product Passports, QR/NFC identity and partnerships across the fibre ecosystem, Amanda is positioning New Zealand wool as the ultimate renewable, biodegradable alternative to synthetics — honouring tradition while driving global change, with farmer data kept sovereign and IP protected.
Where we are
From vision to validation
WoolPass has entered its Phase 1 MVP build — farm gate to export — working with proven blockchain and front-end partners to deliver real-world traceability from the shed to processing and export. Ecosystem traction is strong, with collaborations across genetics providers, scourers, international trade experts, strategic advisors and heritage organisations.
